All About Jorgy

1st Day of 2nd Grade:

Jorgy is....well, he is my boy. He is very active and a troublemaker. He seems to be always on the lookout of who to bother and what he can do to stir the pot. But he is also very concerned for the welfare of others. I once fell in the garage (tripped on my kids' shoes and almost dropped Brandon on the concrete!!!) and he was so concerned that I was okay and he immediately cleaned up the mess. While he does not like to clean he will sometimes surprise me and do it all at the same time. He does not like to have his room messy and he works hard to keep it clean. For some reason he does not like noise (despite the fact that he makes a LOT!). When there is loud music or people are yelling, it drives him to the point of tears. Maybe something is wrong with his ears, he has had a few mild ruptured ear drums this year. We try to keep it down, but have to continually remind him how it feels when there is too much noise going on. He is in scouts and LOVES LOVES it. He has some incredible leaders who push him and keep him on track. It also helps that Dad is his cub master. He plays soccer and baseball and has many friends. He loves to read and his grades were PERFECT this year. He is super smart and will usually tell you so. Here are some pictures from his GREAT year!

Here he is at his end of the year program and with his teacher, Mrs. Bluth.
Welcome to 3rd grade, this is when it really counts!
