We can sum our little vacation into three categories: Museums, Monuments, and Fun.
Museums:
Smithsonian, Museum of Natural History, Air and Space Museum, Museum of American History, and Museum of National Archives.

This was the last day they will EVER allow cameras in this building ever again. The flash from cameras is decaying the ink even faster. They don't allow a flash, but cameras were always "accidentally" going off anyway. We were lucky to get there this day.
Monuments:
U.S. Capital Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, The White House, the LDS Temple, and Arlington Cemetery with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Washington D.C. LDS Temple in the daytime. My mom and dad were married here in 1977 and Jorge and his family were sealed here in 1985, I think.

We had just eaten at a place called Fogo de Chao. It is a lot like Tucanos, but the bill sure wasn't. Let's just say our entire food budget was spent on the first night!
Waiting for the Metro. I rode the Metro all by myself with Brandon while Jorge was working. Are you proud?

Everytime we travel to a new city, we always search out a Peruvian Restauraunt. We found one and it was delicious!
