Preschool Graduation

Hailey graduated from preschool for the second time a couple weeks ago (she still has one more year to go). She is so smart and does so well. She is kind of clingy and sometimes does not let me leave her, but she NEVER actually has a problem at school.

Hailey has grown so much this year. She can now write both her first and last name without help and she is beginning to spell. She is constantly asking how to spell things. She is amazing at the computer and can even remember her user name a password for her Webkinz account! She loves to be outside and ride her tricycle and play with the dog. She likes to go on walks and is very active. Hailey is also very loving and still likes to cuddle and asks me to read to her. She loves soft things and has to have an animal wherever she goes, although now she will leave it in the car instead of taking it with her. She still sucks on her fingers whenever she is holding an animal, but she keeps informing me that she won't do that for much longer. She also developed this nervous habit of ripping out her eyelashes and eyebrows. We don't know why she does it, it has just become a habit. So I have bribed her with makeup and a slushie if she doesn't touch them. It has been a few weeks now, thank goodness!

Now that the baby is on the way, Hailey is happy that it is a boy because she still gets to be the baby girl! She asks me everyday to see what he looks like and she can not wait for him to join our family.

We love Hailey dearly and love the sweet spirit that she brings to our family! She is really a good child and we are lucky to have her!
