3rd Grade Graduation

So, Vanessa has just passed the 3rd grade! Barely! Just kidding. Vanessa is our super smart child, but we also noticed this year that she is incredibly lazy! She doesn't want to do her homework and then turns it in late every time, even when it was very easy to begin with. We also learned this year that she loves to write stories and she was getting a lot of 0s on her report card because she would write these very long stories that took too long, and she didn't finish them on time. Needless to say, there was a lot of yelling going on with her, not because she couldn't understand it, just because she was lazy about it.

She is our stubborn child. Whenever she does not want to do something, it's like pulling teeth to get her to do it. Most of the time she is sweet and loving, and she is definitely the peacemaker between her siblings. She rarely fights with any of them. She likes to do her own thing and does not want to be bothered. She loves sports, especially soccer and had the opportunity to play on a club team this past spring. She has made many friends this year and continues to excel in whatever she wants to do. I cannot believe she is going into 4th grade. Time goes by way too fast!

We LOVE you, VANESSA!

Vanessa was lucky enough to get the same teacher Christine had for first grade. She is super nice and I was lucky enough to have her as my music mentor for the year as well! Thanks Mrs. Penrod!
