Christine decided to be a hippie. She found all the items she needed and even did some research on what a hippie looked like.
Vanessa was a ninja. She is so creative and came up with all parts of her costume on her own.
Jorgy was Kriss Kross or a rapper/gangster. He had a harder time with the fact that we were not buying costumes. We helped him come up with this idea and he was just ok with it. Until he went to school and there was another boy in his class dressed as the same thing. The he was very happy about the costume.
Hailey just picked out a costume from the box. Instead of going with a princess, she decided to be a kitty, and she looked adorable! She even put the "whiskers" on by herself!
Brandon was peas in a pod. My friend (thanks Karen!) let me borrow a costume and I think Brandon looks adorable for his very 1st Halloween!
Jorge and I went as Yankees fans!
We had a good year. 3 days of Halloween is almost too much! The first day was dress up day at school. The second day was trunk-or-treat at out church. And the third day was trick-or-treating. What a blast. One that the kids will not likely forget!

Love the creativity. I think that is one of the best things about being on a tight budget, you learn to think outside the box and be unique instead of just keeping up with the Jones. Very character building.
Very cute! I love when the kids use their creativity! So much fun!
